DISNEYLAND PARIS

This week me and my best friend got on a coach for 13 hours , a ferry for 2 and then a coach again to make the journey to Disneyland Paris for a holiday and also my birthday

THE FERRY RIDE
I am not the best with boats , and when I say I'm not the best I mean even looking at one makes me feel physically ill , so to actually get me on one was a bit of a miracle . When I did get on I can't say I enjoyed the ride but it wasn't the worst thing I've ever done , I'm still not keen though .

DAY 2-  DISNEYLAND PARK AND MY BIRTHDAY
We spent day 2 of our 4 day trip and also my birthday in the main Disneyland park where we went on almost every single ride we could and watched the parades and fireworks . Even though I did study   GCSE French at one point it isn't exactly my strong point ; I feel like being in eurodisney with employees who even though spoke very good English , mainly spoke in French , really helped brush up on my French skills . Most people,  very helpfully , would ask if you spoke English or French or they'd say something simple in French and if you replied in English they'd also switch to English , but for the most part I tried my best to speak French . The first ride we went on was the Pirates of the Caribbean ride , which half way through broke down and was actually pretty scary . We were about to go down the , admittedly small , drop when our boat stopped and suddenly we had others crashing into the back of us with a lot of confused passengers on board . We then proceeded to ride other rides such as Indiana Jones , Peter Pan , it's a small world and big thunder mountain

( Pictured are the Mad Hatters Teacups and its a small world)

However after the extremely long day of riding rides I have to admit the evening parade and fireworks were my favourite part of the trip overall because something about watching the characters on their parade floats with music blasting in the back felt magical . The fireworks themselves were only something you can really appreciate if you're there to experience them in real life . They seem too magical to even describe . They were as if the disney characters were right in front of you on the castle telling their stories with the fireworks to assist them in the process, i loved every moment of it and i have to say it was one of the best birthdays I've ever experienced

(pictured are Sleeping Beautys castle and the peter pan parade float)

We then proceeded to return back to our hotel just outside of Disneyland in which we arrived back at around 12am where i almost instantly passed out from exhaustion and slept the whole night

DAY 3 - WALT DISNEY STUDIO PARK

Now if theres one thing the studio park is known for it has to be the Hollywood tower hotel , most commonly known as the tower of terror .. and let me tell you a thing , its not called the tower of terror for nothing . We entered the ride expecting a thrill of course , but nearly nothing quite like what we got when we plummeted 13 floors towards the ground . Our ride operator was however one of the nicest and creepiest people ever , his name was Jesus , so thank you jesus if you ever happen to stumble across my blog .
We then proceeded to go on other rides such as Rock n Roller coaster which i have to say was one of the funnest rides I've ever done . we also saw a couple of shows such as stitch live which even though was aimed at kids was still extremely funny . We also saw the disney classic animation presentation and did the full studio tour . The ride through of the physical studio was extremely fun due to the actual effects that were shown to you and also demonstrated on you , such as waterfalls crashing into you (wear a jacket)

DAY 4 - Day 4 was again spent traveling , this time returning back to England which was quite a bittersweet feeling because the weekend was by far one of the best weekends ive ever experienced in my life but no matter how much i enjoyed the trip i did miss family and friends back over here . Although no matter how much i missed everyone the trip is something id do over again in a heartbeat , just maybe with a couple different people (i .e my family) next time .
