Rhiannon-Maeve

A music artist that I've been obsessed with for around 3 months is Halsey ( Ashley Frangipane)  . She is a 20 year old indie pop artist from Washington , New Jersey and ever since I heard her sing colours from one of her live shows  I've been completely obsessed . 

When she signed to the ASTRALWORKS record company , Her  EP named room 93 was released in April this year with the songs is there somewhere , ghost , hurricane , empty gold and trouble and I think it pretty much got me hooked . The first song I listened to on the EP was ghost and at first I wasn't so sure of the slow beat that it starts off it but almost instantly it picked up the beat and as soon as the song went into the chorus I knew I'd be in love when I'd finished listening . 

Halsey is currently on tour with imagine dragons on their smoke and mirrors your , opening for them with her songs : Castle , empty gold , hold me down , ghost , new Americana and hurricane but is soon to headline her own tour again and damn I'm excited . Hopefully I'll be going to one of the London shows in around September time . 

"BADLANDS" is the name of Halseys album which is set to be officially released on the 28th of August , according to iTunes,  but a couple of songs have already been released as promotion . These include New  Americana and hold me down , both of which I am completely obsessed with and are probably the most played songs on my phone .  If BADLANDS turns out to be anything like the room 93 EP was I already know I'll be in love with it within my first listen . I'm so excited to see what work Halsey has produced in the process of recording the album and I truly hope her album charts extremely high so the world will end up knowing her name.
