A couple of days ago One Direction released their 5th album entitled 'Made In The A.M' which is to be their last album before they take a well deserved break. I've listened to the album a couple of times through and I've already decided i love it. As I'm listening to albums for the first time i tend to write down my initial reactions to the songs so i thought why not edit those a little and share my MITAM reaction , track by track .

1. Hey Angel - Harry tweeted lyrics to this like a month ago and i knew id love it because honeslty?? the meaning behind this song is like?? HEYANGEELLLLLL . i lowkey wish i was the angel and they wanted to be more like me. ( i didn't edit this one , this is straight up 1am thoughts)

2. Drag Me Down - I've Heard it a lot before because it was released as a single but honestly Im not even skipping it because i still love it. Like a massive fuck you to people who doubt me (and the boys but honestly who doubts them). It kinda makes me wanna jump off of something really high in the best and safest way possible

3.Perfect - The song title describes the entire song. midnight driving with the windows down sounds like my shit. ALSO i feel like this is very subtly Larry. Also heard before, the music video is also perfect

4.Infinity - The first slower song. 'how many nights does it take to count the stars' Idk try it and find out. I LOVE IT. infinity is a long time but sure?? the one step lyric is really sad and like please don't lose the people you love if you can help it.

5.End Of The Day - EVEN THOUGH the pronouns in this song are she/her i feel like this is very LGBT supportive . 'YOU LOVE WHO YOU LOVE THERE AINT NO OTHER WAY' i mean yes scream it, keep going i approve. i don't really know how she ended up in the hospital but i hope she's cool?? ( also unedited , i think end of the day is one of my favs)

6.If I Could Fly - The first song to emotionally fuck me up. SAD AND SLOW AF. like a really sad breakup song that you eat ice cream too and cry. please don't forget who you are. 'for your eyes only' and 'Pain gets hard' ok they need to calm down before i drown in a flood of my own tears. Possibly one of the most well written songs on the entire planet

7.Long Way Down - title reminds me of 'long way home' by 5SOS, song kinda does too. Another slow song which wants to f me up. ' point of no return and now its just too late to turn around' ok that's really sad and please never let yourself reach that point help is there you'll be okay. SADDER THAN EXPECTED.

8.Never Enough - THE BEGINNING IS EVERYTHING. Although the sounds kind of sound like over enthusiastic tennis player grunts , i love it.  ' don't need my heart , you can break it' - me to this entire album . It's a happy tune and i love it. It makes me wanna dance with the ice cream from If I Could Fly

9.Olivia - YES YES YES. I may have heard this song leaked but lets pretend i didn't. NIALLS LOW NOTE. Idk who Olivia is but even I miss her after listening to this song. Also it kinda reminds me of act my age for some reason??

10.What A Feeling- Maybe my least favourite, but i don't hate it. LOUIS VOCALS ARE PERFECT. It reminds me of like a chilled 80s song maybe?? like a slow disco?? is the hustle still a thing??

11.Love You Goodbye - EVEN THE TITLE SOUNDS SAD. I was honestly crying after the first line. 'why you wearing that to walk out of my life' - this is me everytime i see One Direction fly away from the UK. Its like lets stop dancing with the ice cream and cry with it again now yeah??

12.I Want To Write You A Song - THE CUTEST SONG. If i could write music id be writing a lot of it and i also want them to write me song?? ' i want to lend you my coat' . This is possibly one of the sweetest songs I've ever heard on my entire time on earth and I'm not okay

13.History - I LOVE this song, it was released early on the preorder and i instantly fell in love with it, its a song you can definitely dance and just be generally happy too? i love the little clappy beat in it.

14 Temporary Fix - NO CONTROL 2.0 . I feel like that's all i have to say , a very feel good song just like no control was and a definite party song

15.Walking In The Wind - I LOVEEEE THIS SONG. Its not too happy but its also not overly sad and just gives me a very chilled and vibe. It talks about a lot of memories and stuff and i feel like if you're ever feeling nostalgic its perfect.

16.Wolves - omg yes. Honestly just said. Wolves is such a great song for so many different reasons and probably , again, one of my favourites. It makes me feel very strong almost?? like you've gotta take down the
wolves and you can do it and oh my i just love it.

17. A.M - The final , and in my opinion, best song on the album . I see why they named the album with this song because omg yes. I feel like the idea of being able to stay up with someone talking until the morning is just a great concept and they've really captured it in this song and its by far my favourite.
