SUMMER IN THE CITY 2015

This year i attended Summer In The City for the second year in a row , however this year was totally different , and for the better .

SITC 2015 was hosted at the London Excel (a pretty huge venue) instead of the previous venue , Alexandra palace . I think the bigger venue allowed people to move around more freely and enable a lot more things to go on at once which was nice seeing as it was a pretty busy day i had planned

The day started with me being up at 6am to get the 7:55 train (ew , i know) from my home town all the way to London's kings cross which was about a 2 hour journey chatting with a friend and scrolling through twitter . Once we arrived in London we then had a 20 minute tube ride from Kings Cross to the excel tube station . And hey , we only got lost once! .

Once we arrived at the venue it was time to go and meetup with some long awaited internet friends so we could all do the day together! we met up and went straight on the bumper cars SITC had set up for the venue (bumper car tip : no matter how fast you're going sit forwards , if not someone will knock into the back of you and give you a severe headache) . We then proceeded to go to several panels and collect our tickets for Cat Valdes' (Catrific) meet and greet .

I watched the creators divide panel which featuring Luke Cutforth (lukeisnotsexy) , Jamie Jo (BananaJamana) , Dodie Clark (doddleoddle) , Mamrie Hart (mametown / youdeserveadrink) and Charlie Mcdonnell (charlieissocoollike) . It was interesting to see points of view from the creators side and the viewers side of the divide .

The rest of the day consisted of our meet and greet with Cat ( see my twitter post here for more about that : https://twitter.com/ptxtroyler/status/632643267306385408 ) and watched the comedy on youtube panel , which i have to say were probably my two favourite parts of the entire day . Even though we were queuing for a long while .

I then found myself leaving the excel centre as my day drew to a close and it was time to get on a train home again , SITC this year was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had and it was so nice to meet so many you tubers and friends .
