WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

It's #worldmentalhealthday today and project semi colon is something I strongly support .Project semi colon work to end stigma and give love and hope to those who suffer mental illness. A semi colon is used when an author could've ended a sentence, but chose to carry it on; just like many with mental illnesses have carried on fighting. I have struggled with anxiety for just over a year now and let me tell you it's very very real thing. It's not "I'm nervous of this test I have in school" or "omg you look scary it gave me a panic attack" . Anxiety is a long-term condition that causes you to feel anxious about a wide range of situations and issues, rather than one specific event. It's a mental illness that affects so many people , never in a good way . I won't let my anxiety stifle me in doing the things I want to do even if it can set me back by miles . The sooner the stigma around mental health is ended , the sooner more people will be able to receive the help they need.
