1. Tkay Maidza - After hearing her feature in Troye Sivans song "DKLA" i decided it was time to find out more about her , so i took to soundcloud and listening to one of her songs entitled "M.O.B" ..then listened to all of her other songs on her soundcloud .. and then her 40 minute mixtape.

2. Melanie Martinez -Someone i probably should've found out about light years ago and listened to when people told me to orignally. When i first heard about 'crybaby' (the concept of the album seemed a lil distorted to me but i feel like as you listen to it the more you understand) my initial thoughts on it were something along the lines of ??? but then i actually listened and damn i understood the hype.

3. Tink-Also not one of the newest artists around but someone i feel like i have been missing out on for years. She recently featured on the new Pentatonix single "Cant Sleep Love" and from the minute i heard her voice my brain just kinda went 'YES YOU LOVE HER' and not goanna lie i think my brain definitely made the right decision .

4.Tori Kelly- DAMN SHES BEEN BLOWING UP. She performed and crushed the entire VMAs, has began to play on radio stations and is even touring round parts of the world and as someone who's loved Tori for a number of years I'm ridiculously excited for her album 'unbreakable smile' to be released over here in the UK.

5.Oh Wonder-Although yes they're a band and aren't technically one artist and neither are they both  female i can't go without giving them some recognition since their album has been my go to album for any mood I'm ever in. It has a really relaxed , happy and chilled atmosphere which I'm 100% all about
