It's 11:30pm on a Saturday night and I'm sat alone in my room and honestly it's been a while since I found myself writing a blogpost like this . One of those posts where you just have so much to say on one topic but you don't know how to do it properly so you just pour everything out in one go then feel like a huge weight has been lifted from you? Yeah , one of those . 

So , if you haven't guessed by now , music is a pretty god damn important part of my life and anyone with any musical talent that they know how to use well has my immediate respect .One band in particular , a 5 peice a capella band named Pentatonix have had my attention since the day 1 for several reasons but their song "run to you" recently had my attention for more than just the musical aspect of the song . 

I was scrolling through the comments like any normal person does when I saw a comment that said "what/who do you run to.." . Which had me thinking the obvious .  When I have nowhere else to go and no other solution where on earth would I consider as my first place to go . And honestly ? I don't think I have a solid answer . People have their individual escapes and other people special to them that make them feel safe . I have that , of course I have that but I also have the option of being alone with a pair of headphones , my phone and a blanket which ultimately manage to make me feel more at ease than any person or any certain city or surrounding ever could . I love it ,don't get me wrong it can get a bit annoying when I would like to do more than lay and stare at a ceiling but at certain times it's all that's left to do . There's nothing I'd trade for some good quality music and a snuggly blanket when I need it .

So I guess my question is where or who do you run to? The pentatonix song is all focused around the person you'd run to but would you rather run to a place than a person? I have my safe place and you have yours .. But where is it?
